Welcome! This guide covers Getting Started with Contenvo: setting up your account, connecting your WordPress site using our plugin, and launching your first SEO project.
Step 1: Create your Account
If you haven’t already, register for a free account here.
- Note: All new accounts come with Free Try-out Credits so you can test the platform without entering credit card details immediately.
Step 2: Add your Website
Once registered, you will be automatically redirected to the setup page. If you are not redirected, navigate to Settings > Site & API Keys.
- Click Add New Site.
- Enter your website URL (e.g.,
https://your-agency-site.com). - Click Add Site.
Step 3: Generate your API Key
Now that your project is created, you need to generate a secure key to connect it to WordPress.
- Click the Generate Key icon next to your site name.
- ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Copy this key and save it somewhere safe (like a password manager).Security Note: For your security, you can only see this key once. If you lose it, you will need to regenerate a new one and reconnect your site.
Step 4: Install the WordPress Plugin
To enable one-click publishing, you need to install the official Contenvo plugin on your site.
- Go to Site & API keys and click Download plugin.
- Log into your WordPress Dashboard (
/wp-admin). - Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Upload the
.zipfile you just downloaded and click Activate.
Step 5: Connect the Site
- In your WordPress dashboard, look for Contenvo in the left-hand sidebar.
- Paste the API Key you copied in Step 3.
- Click Save Changes.
Step 6: Verify & Start Generating
- Go back to your Contenvo Dashboard.
- Refresh the page. You should now see a green “Connected” status next to your site.
- On the Dashboard, look for the Quick Actions card.
- Click Get Started or the + Post button in the top right corner.
🎉 You are ready to go! Your site is connected. You can now start generating high-quality SEO content.
